Courts on Video Conferencing amid COVID-19
Various different High Courts, Tribunals and other forums located across the Indian Territory, such as the High Court of Allahabad, the High Court of Delhi, the High Court of Madras, the National Company Law Tribunal, the Central Administrative Tribunal etc. have all issued Orders and Guidelines detailing the constitution of special benches for the purpose of hearing and deciding not only urgent matters but also fresh applications and pending cases using video conferencing facilities such as CISCO-WEBEX. Many forums have also notified and increased the categories of different kinds/types of matters which will be heard such as matters related to the protection of women from domestic violence, matrimonial matters, eviction matters, criminal matters where the convict is in custody, certain petitions under arbitration act etc
Similarly, many different High Courts, Tribunals and other forums located across the Indian Territory, such as the High Court of Karnataka, the High Court of Telangana, the National Company Law Tribunal, etc. have decided to cancel their summer vacations of as well as the summer vacations of all their subordinate courts.
